A graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, Whitney has no desire to stop her education. While currently pursuing a History Minor, she has aspirations to obtain degrees in Egyptology, Psychology, and a Master's in Acting from Juilliard. Her work and dedication to these goals have given her the opportunity to connect with people deeply rooted within the performing arts - The Syncopated Ladies, Toby Jones (a writer for the famed Cartoon Network show 'The Regular Show') and even Josh Duhamel.
A life-long performer, Whitney has always understood the need for connections between people - family, friends, neighbors - those we hold most dear. Theatre has allowed her to follow her passions and chase her dreams while holding that virtue close at heart. Over the last few years she has been doing her part to bring awareness to and fighting the stigma that surrounds mental health. 'Tailoring Your Toolbox' is her initiative, but it's more than just that. It's a lifestyle and encouragement to all to take a look inside themselves and start the journey to mental wellness. She has three goals in mind:
Whitney wants to ensure that everyone she comes across - whether in person or online - knows that they are not alone and they will always be enough. |
